Services and Responsibilities:
The Auditor has two main areas of responsibility: services to the general public, and services to other County entities.
Services to the general public include:
- Transfer of deeds
- Managing delinquent tax parcels
- Plat books
- Maintaining special assessment records
- Maintaining voter registration records
- Election administration
- Licensing of auctioneers, transient merchants, and liquor establishments
Services to other County entities include:
- Processing accounts payable and receivable
- Preparation of tax statements
- Tax settlements to other local units of government
